Building The Youth For The Future Through Mentorship.

32nd U. S. President (1882) - (1945) Franklin D. Roosevelt once said "We cannot always build the future for our youths, but we can build our youths for the future".

We can help building the youth for the future through mentorship. Mentoring them early in life will help them develop good character, and achieve success in the nearest future.

According to Wikipedia, youth mentoring is the process of matching mentors with young people who need or want a caring, responsible adult in their lives. Adult mentors are usually unrelated to the child or teen and work as volunteers through a community school, or church based social service program.

The goal of youth mentoring is to improve the well - being of the youth and support the youth academically, Socially or personally.

A mentor is someone who sees more ability in a youth and willing to help him/she to recognize and unleashed the ability into potential, which can change the life of that youth.

The most important way to invest in the next generation, is mentoring the youth in our communities.

Investing in the life of the youth will challenge their perspective, sharpens their interpersonal skills, and exposes them to have different decisions making.

Mentoring the youth with good words of advice can help them becomes a unique person in life, and they can also possess the right values of life, including obedience, intelligence, integrity, diligent, and determination.

Mentoring, at its core, guarantees young people that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter.

Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic, and professional situations. Ultimately, mentoring connects a young person to personal growth and development, and social and economic opportunity. Yet one in three young people will grow up without this critical asset.

Please youths, keep your vision and dreams alive, you shall surely succeed in building yourself to obtain greatness.

Staff Report: Nigerian afro-pop singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has told Nigerian youths to stop celebrating political thieves. 2baba told Vanguard that it was unwise for the youths to be celebrating criminally-minded politicians who were only out to loot public funds. Staff Report: ONE Campaigns anti-corruption ambassador, Innocent Idibia also known as TuBaba, joined the 2018 Africa Governance Architecture (AGA) Regional Youth Consultations in Gaborone, Botswana, as a guest of honour.
